Davide Montanaro, born in 1972 in Cuneo, has lived and worked in Milan since 2000, dedicating his activity to industrial design.

His professional activity is wide-ranging: from the design of connection systems for trekking shoes to modular systems for bookcases, from lamps to exhibition stands, passing through products for museum bookshops. The most distinctive features of his activity are the research and the transfer of materials and technologies across different industrial sectors.

In December 2018 his studiodsgn received awards for best product, best creativity, and the critic’s award at the prestigious IAI Design Award in Shanghai.

In the past he received the “honorable mention” at the Compasso d’Oro award, for a system of closing hooks for trekking shoes, designed for Sammi Export.
